Today marks the conclusion of the first course, “Introduction to Microelectronics,” in the second week of the 8-week Second Intel/AFRL Summer Camp for Women and Underserved Minorities in Microelectronics at Wright State University – Camp #2! We had a great time with a Friday Pizza lunch and Socialization event with our hosted 35 interns. These interns are talented individuals from various locations across Ohio and the U.S., including high schools, community colleges, and undergraduate institutions.
These social events are a fantastic way to connect with students, engage them, and foster camaraderie. We will continue these events every Friday throughout the two-month summer program!
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who supported us, including Intel Corporation, Air Force Research Laboratory, and our partners at Central State University.
Here are some photos from the kickoff event. Way to go, Riders! Right major, right time at Wright State University.
We will keep you posted as this event progresses. We are very excited; students are learning, leveraging support, and everyone is progressing and learning.
