We are thrilled to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of our dedicated students, Vishnu Vardhan, Mithun Kumar PK, Simra Tabassum, and Bharath Konatham, for presenting their cutting-edge research at the 3rd International Conference on Computing and Machine Intelligence (IEEE ICMI-2024) hosted at Central Michigan University.
A big congratulations to our students for their remarkable efforts and accomplishments. This conference provided an excellent platform to showcase the innovative work being done in the SMART lab at Wright State University in the fields of Cybersecurity Attack Detection, Parallel and Distributed Machine Learning, and Anomaly Detection of IoT using ML Techniques.
The students presented three significant papers:
- “Routing Protocol Attack Detection Using Machine Learning Through Parallel Computing in Wireless Sensor Networks”
- Presented by Mithun Kumar PK and Sufian Almajmaie.
- “Enhancing Anomaly Detection of IoT using Knowledge-Based and Federated Deep Learning”
- Presented by Simra Tabassum and Bharath Konatham.
- “Enhancing the Performance of Unsupervised Machine Learning using Parallel Computing: A Comparative Analysis”
- Presented by Vishnu Vardhan.
We extend our special thanks to Dr. Mohamed Ibrahem, Ph.D., for his invaluable assistance and supervision in guiding some of the students in their research. Such collaborative efforts are vital and often lead to impactful outcomes.
Our gratitude also goes to Dr. Ahmed Abdelgawad and Dr. Ahmed Ammar, as well as all the scholars and entities involved in organizing and hosting this successful event. Their efforts ensure the conference’s high quality and provide an excellent platform for future research presentations and collaborations.
We look forward to many more fruitful collaborations and presentations in the years ahead.
