This Summer 2024, Wright State University, in collaboration with Intel Corporation and the Wright-Patterson Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), is hosting the Second Sponsored Summer Internship Program for Women and Underrepresented Minorities. Supported by the Assured Digital Microelectronics Education and Training Ecosystem (ADMETE), this eight-week program offers hands-on training in Semiconductor Microelectronics Workforce Development. Participants will gain experience in areas such as Clean Room Fabrication, Microelectronics, and Additive Manufacturing of Electronics. With a focus on empowering women and underserved minorities, the program aims to prepare the new workforce for Ohio and the US, impacting over 200 participants from various educational backgrounds.
