A team led by Dr. Fathi Amsaad, in collaboration with Subhashini Ganapathy, Mohammadreza (Hadi) Hadizadeh, Mubbashar Altaf Khan, and Ahsan Mian, is proud to celebrate the enriching experiences of a diverse group of women and underrepresented minority students participating in the Microelectronics Summer Camp Training program. This initiative, aimed at empowering the next generation of tech professionals, has ignited enthusiasm among the students who are embracing the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technology.

One highlight of this program is the hands-on training conducted in the FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) lab, a space where students gain practical insights into the intricate world of microelectronics. The incorporation of FPGA boards has significantly expanded the capacity to provide students with a high-quality, immersive learning experience.
This success story is made possible by the generous support of Intel, who has played a pivotal role in enabling this impactful summer internship program. As a token of gratitude, the team eagerly anticipates hosting Intel officials at Wright State University in the coming month.
Dr. Fathi Amsaad and his esteemed colleagues are dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion within the tech industry, and their Microelectronics Summer Camp Training program is a testament to their commitment. It not only empowers students but also reflects the university’s dedication to preparing a diverse and talented workforce for the ever-evolving field of technology.
