Wright State University has clinched a substantial $30 million contract with the United States Air Force for the Assured Digital Microelectronics Education & Training Ecosystem (ADMETE) project. This venture, supported by Wright Patterson, focuses on bolstering digital microelectronics education and cybersecurity training. Central to ADMETE is the Digital Microelectronics Lab, poised to become a regional center for cutting-edge research and training, emphasizing the critical role of security in microchip design. With a firm foundation laid, the project now aims to expand its reach, aiming to provide comprehensive training for Air Force personnel, industry experts, and a broader audience to ensure the trustworthiness of microchips in an increasingly interconnected world.
